Advanced Solar Photonics Seeks Expansion Capital         

Lake Mary, Fl., July 6, 2009 - Advanced Solar Photonics (ASP); the manufacturer of 100% American component made monocrystalline solar panels, announced it is launching an investment campaign to raise expansion capital.   On June 29, 2009, ASP owners authorized the commencement of the next phase of growth of the facility. The acquired capital will be used to implement another 50MW expansion to its production line located in its Central Florida facility.

 

Having secured the first round of investments, ASPs’ facility is on track to have its first panels come off the line July 15^th. The current level of production is limited due to the need for more solar manufacturing equipment and operation capital to move towards full production of 500MW for higher profits. The facility currently has one 50MW line in operation working at full capacity. However, having only one 50MW line limits the quantity of solar panels that are produced.

 

“As a debt free company, Advanced Solar Photonics is striving to grow in smart incremental segments of 50MW every three to six months,” said Maureen McHale, ASPs’ Corporate Marketing and Public Relations Manager. “ASPs’ owners are open to speak with a wide range of potential investors and discuss various capital options from strategic partners, to institutional and financial investors, to securing equity money, etc.,” said McHale.

 

Differentiating themselves from other solar manufacturers, ASPs’ monocrystalline panels are made from 100% American made components. Additionally, ASP is fully integrated having the ability to construct necessary components and more closely control the manufacturing and fabricating of the ASP Panels. ASPs’ facility is the only one of its kind in not only the state of Florida, but the world. Financing for this new factory is anticipated from both the private and public companies that have an interest in being a part of or investing in the development of a profitable alternative energy manufacturing facility.
