PV Busbar Soldering/Assembly Technician

Responsibilities:

The Rework and Assembly area environment is fast paced and expectations include being flexible and easily adaptable to change. Responsibilities will include:

  • Assembly and packaging of platforms
  • solder rework
  • assist engineers with test equipment calibration
  • track and order supplies
  • lab board maintanence on rework inventory
  • Perform all tasks associated with the soldering or assembly of a PV cell array/ busbar assembly.

Job Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years experience in the assembly of PV Module Components
  • Ability to hand solder small components and read assembly drawings and schematics
  • Demonstrate the ability to solder small electronic components using a microscope
  • Perform solder rework as well as upgrading PV Module Assemblies
  • Expected to identify any errors or problems with the material
  • Experience with BOM’s
  • Understanding of Standard J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610610
  • Experienced with rework /repair of PV module assemblies
  • Experience with Soldering Standard J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610610

Work Environment:

  • The position is based out of our Lake Mary, FL headquarters.

Pay Scale:

Training = $7.25 per hour
PV Busbar Soldering/Assembly I = $8.00-$9.00 per hour
PV Busbar Soldering/Assembly II = $9.00-$11.00 per hour
PV Busbar Soldering/Assembly III = $11.00-$13.00 per hour
