Solar Industry Executive Brings Strategic Sales Growth to PV Equipment Manufacturing
Lake Mary, FL., January 10, 2012 – Advanced Solar Photonics, LLC (ASP), a leading manufacturer of crystalline photovoltaic modules and racking systems for utility, commercial, and residential applications, today announced that Allen Sosis has joined the company as Director of Sales for the Northeastern United States.
In this role, Sosis is responsible for regional sales growth strategy for the company’s PV equipment manufacturing, commercial project development and solar power plants. Sosis will be based in the company’s new regional office located in Central New Jersey.
Sosis has over 7 years of experience in leadership roles in the solar industry. He began his solar career as Director of Business Development at Solar Tech, closing over $7 million in sales. Sosis then joined Centro Solar, a European manufacturer and distributor of PV modules and systems, as the North East Sales Manager closing over 4 MW of commercial and residential orders in a four month period.
In Allen’s most current position as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Clear Skies Solar, he developed commercial and residential sales models generating over $27 million dollars in volume over a nine month period. Additionally, Sosis represented Clear Skies Solar as a liaison to municipalities, shareholders and utilities for solar installations.
Allen has a B.S. degree in Economics from Brooklyn College as well as an A.S. degree in Business Administration from Kingsborough Community College.
