ASP Develops New Generation of PV Ground Mount Systems

Product Features Helical Pile Technology Applied to Utility Scale Solar Projects

ORLANDO, FL., November 7, 2011, Advanced Solar Photonics, LLC (ASP), a leading manufacturer of crystalline photovoltaic modules and racking systems for utility, commercial, and residential applications, today announced the development of a revolutionary new PV ground mount system.

The ASP ground mount system features the use of helical anchors to make the installation of large PV solar projects more simple and efficient. These anchors are stronger than concrete with features including precise robotic welding and corrugated, cold-formed helix plates. Installation is very fast and can be performed using relatively small equipment in hard-to-access site conditions, and is removable just as easily should the need arise.

Designed for large commercial and utility-scale projects, ASPs mounting system is pre-assembled at the factory prior to the installation of the foundations, which provides for shorter project turn-around time and reduced field-labor project costs.
The ASP PV ground mount system is scalable and can be assembled in multiple configurations for ease of design, using custom components compatible with most types of PV modules.  ASPs ground mount system offers freedom and flexibility to commercial projects, coupled with the reliability of products designed to speed up installation and reduce costs. All components of this system are manufactured at ASPs manufacturing facility in Lake Mary, Florida.
