Advanced Solar Photonics Names David Grosswald as Global Director of Sales

Former QVC Guest Host to Lead Worldwide Sales and Service of Solar PV Modules

Lake Mary, FL., August 3, 2010 – Advanced Solar Photonics (ASP), a leading manufacturer of monocrystalline solar panels and solar generators for residential, commercial, and utility applications, today announced the appointment of David Grosswald as Director of Worldwide Sales and Service for Solar PV Modules.

In his new role, Mr. Grosswald is responsible for leading the sales and distribution of solar PV modules and kits for residential, commercial, and utility-scale projects worldwide. With increased demand for high efficiency solar PV modules, he will be working closely with ASP customers to help them with their solar PV projects.

Mr. Grosswald joins ASP from Xantrex Technology (now part of Schneider Electric) where he oversaw national account sales for ten years. During that time, he was best known for his role as a guest host on QVC selling Power Products for Xantrex. David performed live on TV selling for Xantrex over 700 times. He brings to ASP industry expertise in Advanced Power Conversion Products, such as power inverters, charging systems, and other renewable energy products.

Mr. Grosswald is a graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising and Marketing.
