
Sales Analyst
ASP is North America's Solar Energy Service Provider, and operates across the global marketplace delivering turnkey, predictably priced renewable electricity services for commercial, government and utility customers. Using proven technology, ASP delivers a complete service; we finance, install, own, operate and maintain photovoltaic power plants at the customers facility.
SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS
The Analyst will support new solar power sales and the management of current accounts. You will assist Sales Managers in the growth of our client portfolios and project pipelines. The Sales organization will have you pursuing new opportunities for growth in a rapidly expanding market. You will use your analytic and problem solving skills to develop persuasive value propositions for prospective clients. You will skillfully influence the decision makers of our current and future clients. You will develop projects using your exceptional organizational and communication skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop and manage incoming leads and sales pipeline.
* Evaluate customer savings propositions by analyzing energy data and utility rates
* Prepare client presentations and proposals, including analytics and communication
* Assess economic viability of project proposals and propose ways to increase project revenue streams or reduce costs
* Interface with the Finance, Delivery, and Research and Development groups to thoroughly understand physical and financial project characteristics
* Support sales managers during contract negotiations
* Communicate and influence cross-functionally with all levels of management within ASP
* Increase effectiveness of staff and tools by recognizing opportunities for development and creating new systems and structures
* Assist in the collection, coordination, and preparation of communication and documentation, including customer contracts and utility applications
* Design and prepare financial reports, including sales forecasts and project portfolio status reports
* Run due diligence to present new clients and new client locations for future business opportunities
QUALIFICATIONS

* Desire to work in an early stage company in the renewable energy field
* Bachelor's degree required and Master's Degree preferred
* Strong computational and analytical skills
* Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English
* Project management and financial modeling experience
* Strong insight development and value proposition definition skills
* Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment
* Self-motivated with the ability to manage diverse relationships and multiple, complex projects simultaneously
* Creativity and critical thinking skills to tackle a variety of challenges from the industry level to client-specific
* Advanced Excel skills, familiarity with Word and PowerPoint
* Solar or renewable energy industry experience a plus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Though the Sales Department believes in long term work/life balance, we also believe in short term imbalances. Long hours will be needed from time to time as dictated by deal flow and project deadlines.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The position is based out of our Lake Mary, FL headquarters. Occasional travel within the United States to be expected.
