Advanced Solar Photonics Partners with Rubelab to Launch Electric Vehicle Recharging Stations

Lake Mary, Fl., March 3, 2009Advanced Solar Photonics, (ASP), the cutting-edge developer of monocrystalline solar panels and commercial solar products for the photovoltaic industry announced today its partnership with Rubelab, a center for environmental innovation.

This past weekend, Rubelab, a non-profit corporation which assists inventors in bringing new green technologies to market held a two day festival, Rubelab on the Green 2009. The festival featured alternative transportation vehicles and other green technology including The RubeStation, a portal to the power grid which includes a solar collection array and three power pedestals for easy charging of electric vehicles.   Advanced Solar Photonics participated in the event and has partnered with Rubelab to provide its high efficiency SunPanels™ to power the RubeStations.

ASPs’ new SolarFab™, monocrystalline module production plant, will produce the SunPanels™.  SolarFab™, which is breaking ground this year, has the ability to continue to increase in capacity up to 500MW and plans to create approximately 1500 green jobs in Florida.
