Glass to Glass Lamination

 ASP manufactures these panels with a double glass structure that enhances project aesthetics. The standard panels (230 – 250W) weigh less than 40 pounds and are delivered with a full Lifetime Warranty.

Large panels with 400W and more of power is 2 to 3 times lighter then competition, what allows manufacturing of few times higher power panels with the same weight and mechanical strength and wind load specifications as low power comparables from competition.

As a further improvement in panel energy conversion efficiency ASP is developing panels with embedded holographic layer which will enable energy harvesting capabilities of ASP panels similar to the sun tracking systems – additional 10 – 12%.

The technology behind the hologram spectrally selects solar radiation and moves it through the plane of the glass onto the PV trapping it inside. With the holographic technology we are able to use more hours of the suns light and we can produce energy in the early hours and in the later evenings. This will create substantial increase in overall energy harvesting of the roof mount solar system.
